ABOUT ME

I started Standing Stone Wellness to help people take the stress out of their lives. Too often stressors not only affect our health, but also affect those who surround us. Aromatherapy provides a natural means for us to de-stress, feel happier, and soothe discomforts such as muscle aches and digestive upset; all the while encouraging us to take time out to stop and smell the Rose Otto.

All of my products are small batch, hand-crafted products made without the “Dirty Dozen” toxic chemical additives as identified by David Suzuki and the Toxic Ten ingredients identified by Environmental Defense. I use natural butters and waxes. Fragrance comes from essential oils. All products are cruelty free. As a mom, I’m also concerned with electromagnetic toxicity. So many of us are on cell phones, tablets and in front of TVs from such an early age. This affects productivity, socialization, self-esteem and more.

I love to read and research new topics. My wellness journey began long ago. I’ve tried many things that have helped me along the way, and I’m happy to introduce these ideas to others and maybe help them too. I’m a certified aromatherapist, a student of holistic nutrition, and a student of life. I have been called a perpetual learner, and that has made all the difference for me. The movement toward a simpler, more natural way of living is growing. Become a part of our community and share your thoughts on living a happier, healthier, more natural life.
